From our valley to your inbox
Every few weeks, when there’s something worth sending, you’ll get an email newsletter from us about what’s happening in the garden and some useful things to try at your place this week – how to keep the possums off the peas, secure your water supply, connect with your community and more.
It’s called On Living Like It Matters, and it’s been landing in inboxes since 2007… which is longer than we’ve had a reliable internet connection.
From our table to yours – what’s actually growing, and the odd thing that isn’t.

Who’s writing to you
We’re Kirsten and Nick. We started Milkwood on a farm in the New South Wales highlands back in 2007. Since then we’ve helped over 15,000 people learn to grow food, keep bees, make things and think like permaculture designers through our face to face and online courses – and written three books along the way. Nowadays home for us is a lovely little community in southern lutruwita/Tasmania.
Whatever you’re growing, making or figuring out next, we’re here to help.
