Hey guess what? We’re creating an urban ‘Permaculture Piazza’ for Gardening Australia Live, on 18 – 20 October in Sydney!
The Permaculture Piazza will be a leafy space dripping with great ideas and free workshops for creating your own urban permaculture.
We’ll be filling this gorgeous Piazza (made from recycled wooden pallets) with info and examples of everything from keeping chickens and ducks to natural beekeeping, food forests, mushroom cultivation, natural building, vertical gardening and more.
All the workshops we’ll be running are included free in the door price to Gardening Australia Live, and the full Milkwood crew will be there to answer questions, show you how stuff works or just generally chat.
We’ll release the details of the workshop schedule soon, but you can expect hands-on demonstrations of things like strawbale building, mushroom cultivation and seed ball making, to name a few.
You can also listen and learn from the experts on topics like natural beekeeping, aquaponics, vertical gardening, urban chicken keeping and of course urban Permaculture design and techniques!
Gardening Australia Live is happening on 18 – 20 October at Moore Park, Sydney.
You can find the Permaculture Piazza in the big courtyard between the Horden Pavilion and the Royal Hall of Industries.
There’s tonnes of other great stuff happening at this event too, and will be a great day out for all the family. Kids under 5 come free, young-uns are $10, big people are $25 and a family ticket is $55.
See you there, folks!
